Questions on "Shoes and a beating"
Yesterday I got flooded with emails from people who had misconceptions about the “Shoes and a Beating” routine from yesterday's newsletter.
So let me answer some of those here so everyone can learn from them.
“That shit's hilarious Brad! Don't know if I could pull it off yet...but funny shit”
I gotta tell you guys, this routine is pretty easy to do, because everyone will know it's a joke. It's not like some of the more “confusion game” type routines where you get a bad reaction now and again. This one is SO OBVIOUSLY A JOKE that it's really not that difficult to pull off.
“This is a little scary! Can I change it to spanking for my use?”
I actually got a ton of emails stating the the routine was “scary” to use. The assumption here is that women will find it offensive.
Here's a principle to remember- You cannot assume that hot women have the same sense of humor as you. You cannot assume that the things that you find offensive, they would also find offensive.
Many readers are imaging what they would find offensive, what they would find funny, and assigning this exact same sense of humor to women.
Sorry, guys it doesn't work that way. Women think different that you.
This bit is particularly for use on HOT WOMEN.
They think different than you, and they think different than average women.
Remember, I teach people how to pick up hot women. That's why you're reading this right now, because you want hot women.
As far as changing the bit to “spanking” instead of “a beating”....I don't recommend this.
Knight is trying to water down the routine to make it less offensive.
The end result of of this change would be that the routine becomes more sexual, and less of an obvious joke. That makes it become more offensive.
Listen....no matter how many women you say this to, no one is really going think you beat up your dates. It's just not possible that a guy would walk around talking about how he beats women up. You'd have to be a complete idiot to not realize this is a joke.
However, if you put “spanking” in there, it's not so much of a joke anymore. This increases the likelihood of women getting offended.
Furthermore, if you're a beginner, I don't recommend making changes. Just do it as it's written. Someday when you're better than me, Jake, and Glenn, you can start changing our routines.
When you're a beginner, it's likely that you will try to make the bit less offensive, but in the process render it ineffective or make it more offensive. You can't go wrong by just saying it the way it's written.
Charlie B writes in-
“Is this an opener?”
Fair question. No it's not an opener. It's an attraction routine. You should open first, and then use this bit anytime in the first 30-90 minutes.
If you don't have any openers, get my book of openers, it's called Instant Attraction.
“So, this routine obviously isn't designed to get women attracted to you, because I would think any women would have to be pretty fucked in the head to be attracted to a women beater, but its just to get out of your comfort zone and who cares about the outcome? “
Cory couldn't be more wrong on this one. Cory!!!! Where is your brain???
A woman will NEVER take a bit like this seriously. She knows you don't beat women.
Cory!!!! Stop speculating and go try this stuff out. You clearly have no clue how women respond to humor and role playing. I am sensing we might have a KJ on our hands here who is always on the internet reading, but never takes action. Read the Forbidden Truth 2 Report. This will help a lot.
OK let's give women a little more credit here. Hot women (in most cases) have a highly developed sense of humor, and a razor sharp understanding of sarcasm, role playing, and rapport breaking. When it comes to social skills, hot women are pretty smart!
No one would ever say something like “I beat women on dates.” Women know that. They're not stupid.
That's all for today guys. I hope this helps you make more sense out of the routine.
